Samantha Soria is a freelance writer based in South Florida. 

 

In 2021, she graduated from Florida International University with a BA in English. There, she wrote for the student media organization PantherNOW. In 2022, she received her MA in Journalism from New York University. While there, she wrote for the graduate media publication The Click.

 

Focusing on entertainment, identity, and pop culture, she has contributed essays to Sunstroke Magazine and has written for other publications, including The Luna Collective and LatinaMedia.Co. In 2024, she co-created and hosted the book club blog and podcast Fictionally in Love. She currently co-runs a pop culture newsletter on Substack called This Must Be the Place.
